Kirsty Mellor is a law clerk and licensed paralegal at DMG Advocates.
With nearly two decades of experience, Kirsty has cultivated expertise across a range of legal areas, including commercial litigation, employment, labour, and human rights. At DMG Advocates, she plays a vital role in supporting lawyers through every phase of the legal process—from pre-litigation to trials, arbitration hearings and appeals. Kirsty takes pride in anticipating the needs of both lawyers and clients, ensuring that every aspect of a matter is handled in a timely and efficient manner. She regularly prepares materials for motions, mediations, hearings, and appeals, and is highly experienced in managing large-scale document review.
Kirsty also manages numerous Small Claims Court and administrative matters on behalf of the Firm’s clients. She has appeared before the Small Claims Court, Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, Ministry of Labour, Ontario Labour Relations Board, and the Ontario Court of Justice.
Before joining DMG Advocates, Kirsty successfully ran her own legal services firm, after spending 15 years as a legal assistant and law clerk at two large national firms. Kirsty received her Paralegal Diploma from George Brown College and has been a paralegal member of the Law Society of Ontario since 2019.
